About Us
ECCA FOUNDER - Eddie Walter 1946-2007
Eddie Walter founded The East Coast Car Association Inc. in 1999 to raise money for St. Mary's Hospital for Children. Eddie dedicated all his time to creating the ECCAs weekly cruise nights and shows. He would attend any car show, cruise night, street fair or parade that would help raise money for his cause. Eddie passed away suddenly on February 26, 2007. We vowed to keep the ECCA running as Eddie would have wanted.
ECCA 1999 - 2022
Throughout the year, we host Cruise Nights, Car Shows and a Toy Run all to benefit St. Mary's. We help out the local Glendale, Maspeth, Middle Village, Ridgewood, Woodhaven, Forest Hills, Ozone Park, Howard Beach, Jamaica, Jackson Heights, Woodside, Sunny Side, Astoria, Flushing and surrounding Communities by attending Parades, Street Fairs, and Special Events. We are a 501c3 Not-Profit 100% Volunteers Organization. We invite any type of Car, Truck, Motorcycle or Classic Bicycle to come and join us at our car shows and cruise nights. We issue Community Service Awards for High school seniors that need service credits to graduate and plus you can learn about all types of cars and the car community.
#ECCAT4T along with our supporters raised a total of $6,500.00 for the 2021 season. This amount was presented to St. Mary's healthcare system for children in Bayside Queens after the Toy Run on Sunday 11-14-2021. Our grand total over the last 23 years we donated $240,000.00 cash & toys. Our toy-run is schedule for 11/13/2022
